Regional District of Bulkley-Nechako, British Columbia

XCG has a long and extensive history of working with the Regional District of Bulkley-Nechako.

Over the last 10 years XCG has completed the following projects with the Regional District of Bulkley-Nechako:

Clearview Landfill

Fill Plan – XCG completed a fill plan for the Clearview Landfill showing the stages of landfilling as well as providing soil balance estimates and site life estimates for each stage of landfilling.

Sub-Cell 3 Expansion – Included 50%, 75%, and 90% designs and meetings with the RDBN to discuss the design after each stage. The 100% design consisted of complete projects specifications and detailed design drawings.

Knockholt Landfill

Landfill Gas Assessment – XCG evaluated the landfill gas production at the Site, the impacts of waste diversion on landfill gas production and an estimated cost to install a landfill gas collection system.

Phase 2c Design – Included 50%, 75%, and 90% designs and meetings with the RDBN to discuss the design after each stage. The 100% design consisted of complete projects specifications and detailed design drawings.

Phase 3 Conceptual Design – Included cell layout and projected life spans for each cell within the Phase 3 expansion area.

Phase 3A Extension Design – Included 50%, 75%, and 90% designs and meetings with the RDBN to discuss the design after each stage. The 100% design consisted of complete projects specifications and detailed design drawings.

Along with the above noted major projects and reports, XCG completed the environmental monitoring programs for the Fraser Lake Landfill, Smithers-Telkwa Landfill, Vanderhoof Landfill, Fort Fraser Landfill, Burns Lake Landfill, Forst St James Landfill, Clearview Landfill and Knockholt Landfill. XCG Also completes the annual monitoring report and landfill gas assessments for the Clearview Landfill and the Knockholt Landfill.
