XCG was retained by Cascades Container Board Packaging – Trenton to conduct an annual groundwater, surface water, sediment, and plant effluent monitoring program at the Cascades Trenton Plant property (Site).
Transamerica Life Canada, RAP Implementation & Site Redevelopment – Former Sunarhauserman Site
XCG was hired to replace the consultant (as the work was found to be inadequate) that had initially been engaged to do a Phase I Environmental Site Assessment (ESA) and preliminary remedial cost estimate. XCG re-did the Phase I and then designed and implemented a staged series of Phase II and Phase III investigations to delineate and quantify subsurface soil and ground-water impacts on a 30-acre property in Waterloo, Ontario.
Roynat Inc. - Team Approach Sells Industrial Property in Waterloo
In 1990, Roynat Inc. was the holder of the property mortgage for a company who defaulted and went bankrupt, leaving Roynat with ownership of a 1.3-hectare industrial property in Waterloo, Ontario. Roynat was unable to sell the property, but was able to secure a long-term tenant for the property. This tenant intended to purchase the property in 1998 and commissioned a Phase I Environmental Site Assessment (ESA).
Qualified Person Services for Excess Soil Management for Britannia Road Widening, Milton, Ontario
When D’Orazio Infrastructure Group (DIG) secured the excavation and earthworks portion of Region of Halton contracts R3309A-20 and R3309A-21 with Brennan Paving, the project contracts specified the Contractor to secure the services of a Qualified Person (QP-C).
Remedial Activities Following Fuel Oil Release - Uxbridge, Ontario
XCG was retained by the Ontario School Boards’ Insurance Exchange (OSBIE) and the Durham District School Board (DDSB) to conduct a peer review of historical investigations and remedial activities for a study area located near the Uxbridge Secondary School (USS) in Uxbridge, Ontario.
CPU Implementation
Following the filing of a Record of Site Condition (RSC) for a former industrial property in Guelph, Ontario, by another consultant, XCG was requested to assist with implementation of the Risk Management Measures (RMMs) outlined in the Certificate of Property Use (CPU) issued for the site.
