Nick is one of XCG’s Expert People. He is a Project Specialist, based out of our Kitchener, Ontario office and has been helping clients solve environmental problems since June 2022. Nick attended Queen’s University and received a Bachelor of Applied Science in Geological Engineering.
His areas of experience include environmental site assessment (ESA), soil and groundwater projects, land surveying, compiling field observations and analytical data, and reporting. Nick’s field activities often include Phase I & II environmental site assessments (ESA), soil remediation, groundwater remediation projects, and on-going groundwater monitoring/sampling events. He has conducted groundwater and soil sampling for industrial, commercial, and residential properties for the presence of various contaminants including metals, petroleum hydrocarbon compounds (PHCs), volatile organic compounds (VOCs), and polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs). His experience also includes the supervision and documentation of monitoring well installation, test pits, and remedial excavations.
Nick’s commitment and passion for his role, along with his eagerness in solving new challenges makes Nick a valued member of the XCG #ExpertPeople team.
When not on the job, Nick can be found hiking, playing the guitar, drawing, and spending time with friends and family.
